Final Days in SF

The following photos were taken at the Japanese Tea Garden.  We got a chance to ride our bikes to Golden Gate Park and got into the garden for free on Wednesday mornings.

Bill being Zen below.

Just Bill, me and Buddha.

Bill and I decided to have a Japanese snack at the tea house which consisted of sweet rice buns and wonder aromatic teas.

Our bike ride through the park was wonderful, with lots of beautiful gardens, small falls, and even a lake.

We walked through the Golden Gate Park and ended up unexpectedly finding a beautiful Dutch Windmill called the North Windmill which was built in in 1903 and was used to pump water though out the park and was surrounded by beautiful flowers (no tulips) but lots of poppies and others I couldn't name.

Our final stop at the edge of the Golden Gate Park was the Pacific Ocean.  As you can see it was pretty quiet out on the beach considering it was pretty overcast and cool out.

More flowers and lilies at the park.

We finally got back to the hotel. here are some photos of our room. It was small but cozy.

This was taken a few hours before leaving for home underneath the  Chinatown arch.

Walked by the nudie places.

Saw an Afghan restaurant called The Helmand which has since been closed.

Views of downtown as we walked through.

Final stop for lunch at the Irish Pub.
